Reliance Communications Ltd, in association with RIM (Research in Motion) has launched the BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone in the Indian market. Sporting a user friendly design with a full QWERTY keypad, the handset comes with RIM’s intuitive trackball navigation system and it is priced at Rs 25,990.
The BlackBerry Curve 8330 smartphone is available in a silver color finish and it features a 2 megapixel camera, advanced multimedia capabilities along with the BlackBerry platform, which supports access to e-mail, messaging and other mobile applications. Some other additional features include CDMA connectivity, media player, voice activated dialing, speakerphones, and noise and echo cancellation technology for sharp and clear phone calls. It also features Bluetooth 2.0 with support for hands-free headsets, stereo headsets, car kits and other Bluetooth accessories. An enhanced desktop media manager software also allows users to manage music, pictures and video easily between their PCs and the BlackBerry Curve 8330. The smartphone is also empowered with instant messaging capability with BlackBerry Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk. The inbuilt Internet Service provides users with the ability to access up to 10 supported e-mail accounts from a single device.
