On the occasion of India’s Independence Day, LG India has announced the start of the ‘Freedom Offer’. This limited time offer is available on the LG 19″ wide and 22″ wide LCD monitors, where the warranty of these products have been increased from 3 years to 5 years. All customers who would buy these monitors between August 16th 2008 and September 30th 2008, will enjoy an extra 2 years extended warranty on these LCD monitors.
According to R Manikandan (Business Group Head, Monitors and OSD), “We, at LG, have confidence in our products and the technology that we offer. Hence, we want our customers to experience LG’s best-in-class LCD Monitors and enjoy microscopic picture clarity together with 5 years peace of mind. While these products come with standard 3 year warranty, during this promotion period the customers can avail additional 2 years of extended warranty.”
After the purchase of the monitors, the consumers would have to log in to the ‘Consumer Section’ of the LG India Website and then register their product. After completing the registration process, consumers will be given a registration number that needs to be sent to the addresses mentioned in the website along with the invoice copy of purchase and MRP sticker. The MRP sticker (Maximum Retail Price) can be obtained from the carton box of the monitor. This would give their monitors an extended 2 years warranty period
