According to Yahoo! News, Airtel has announced that it has entered into a partnership with VISA to make the Apple iPhone 3G available to the aspiring customers, who are held back due to the high prices.
These new installments, will range from a duration between three and 12 months. Customers will now be able to enjoy Apple iPhone 3G and all of its features with easy monthly installment options. According to Sanjay Gupta (CMO, Bharti Airtel), “For consumers who aspire to own the iPhone 3G, VISA will offer easy financing options for all VISA cardholders of ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI Cards and Citibank. Such initiatives will further widen the market of iPhone 3G in India”
