Apple faced a lot of criticism when the company came up with the launch of their iPhone at the cost above Rs. 30,000. Though certain speculations were made that the price of the iPhone will not be as low as its US counterpart, still no one expected it to be so high!
To add on to the injury, a lot of other manufacturers also implemented the same strategy of price for their own flagship phones as well. The direct consequences fell on the sales on individual handsets!
According to Business Today, the sales figures of the iPhone as well as other smartphones are declining day by day.
The telecom operators have managed to sell about 4000 units of the iPhone since its launch. The sales of N96 are even low as the device that was launched in September managed to sell only1000 units.
