Airtel and Research In Motion (RIM) have recently launched BlackBerry plan in India for Rs 499. It will provide Airtel customers with unlimited access to the email and instant messaging features on the BlackBerry platform!
According to a press release: It is the first service plan that is available for less than the price range of Rs. 500 and offers unlimited email and IM to BlackBerry smartphone customers in India!
The press release further states that: The BlackBerry Personal Mail service plan offers unlimited access to the email and instant messaging features on the BlackBerry platform, allowing Airtel customers to access up to 10 supported POP3/IMAP email accounts (including most popular ISP email accounts such as Yahoo! Mail and Google Mail) as well as various instant messaging services (including Windows Live Messenger, GTalk, Yahoo! Messenger and BlackBerry® Messenger) from a single device.
