Blaupunkt has announced the launch of an all new portable satellite navigation system, known as the ‘TravelPilot series’ for the Indian markets. This new series of portable navigation systems is available in three models, TravelPilot 100, TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 and TravelPilot 300. These systems provide route guidance based on a combination of spoken and visual recommendations.
The navigation information for the Indian roads and route is taken from ‘MapmyIndia’, that provides customer with comprehensive road and navigation information across the country, with map coverage across 174 cities, connected by national highways, state highways and other major roads apart from providing points of interest across categories such as restaurants, ATMs, hotels etc.

Blaupunkt TravelPilot 100:
The Blaupunkt TravelPilot 100 navigation system provides high speed route calculation and accurate route guidance, along with inputs from audio and visual recommendations. The Blaupunkt TravelPilot 100 navigation system is priced at Rs.18,990.
Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca 3.5:
It is a user friendly and easy to use ‘Plug and Play’ that includes color menus and intuitive instructions. Apart from the navigation functionalities, the Blaupunkt TravelPilot Lucca 3.5 also doubles as an MP3 Player and you can also view jpg images on the device. It comes with a price tag of Rs. 21,990.
Blaupunkt TravelPilot 300:
The Blaupunkt TravelPilot 300 is a unique touch screen navigation system, that features a host of driver assistance functions, such as a light sensor, that adjusts the display as per the level of illumination, along with 5 different route options. In addition with the navigation capabilities, the Blaupunkt TravelPilot 300 has an integrated Bluetooth to provide compatibility for mobile phone and entertainment functions. The bluetooth also enables users to use the device for direct call dialing. The Blaupunkt TravelPilot 300 is available for Rs. 25,990.
