Dell Inc. has introduced two new laptops and two new desktops in the Vostro series that have been brought into the market specifically for small businesses, governments and educational institutions operating on limited budgets in India, along with other developing nations. These new machines are:
Laptops:
- Dell Vostro A840
- Dell Vostro A860
Desktops:
- Dell Vostro A100
- Dell Vostro A180.
The new range of Dell computers will be available in India and more than 20 countries in Asia, Africa, Europe and Latin America from Dell and Dell authorized channel partners. The date of launch and the prices of these computer haven’t been disclosed yet.

The Dell Vostro A860 laptop is very much similar to the Vostro A840, in just about every aspect except that the screen of A860 is a 15.6” anti-glare widescreen HD LCD display.
The all new Dell Vostro series of desktops for small and medium businesses include, the Dell Vostro A100, that is powered byIntel Atom processor and runs on Ubuntu operating system. The other machine in the new Vostro series is the Dell Vostro A180, that is powered by Intel Celeron and Pentium dual core processors and runs on Ubuntu, Linux, Microsoft Genuine Windows Vista.
