Staff Techdrunk D-link has launched a new router,called GLB-802C for domestic and small & medium enterprises (SME), that is aimed at providing simple and cost-effective ADSL Internet connection.
Accordoing to D-Link, “GLB-802C is a versatile, high-speed router supporting up to 24Mbps download speed and firewall protection with SPI. The combo offer with free McAfee anti-virus 90 day package will enable first time broadband user to go live right from the start with secure high speed access through a Broadband Router that provides all the functions that a home or small office needs to establish a link to the outside world.”
The D-Link GLB-802C provides DHCP server for users who are a part of a home or a small office network, that enable them to access the Internet simultaneously. The GLB-802C comes with an Ethernet port with which, a connection can be established between port and a single computer or an Ethernet switch for a group of users, plus a USB port that can connect to a USB interface of a computer/laptop.
