Fujifilm recently unveiled 7 new digital cameras in India. The primary aim behind the launch is to intensify and develop the brand image of digital cameras. One of the main attractions among the range of digital cameras was the FinePix F200EXR. This digital camera comes with the EXR technology and Super CCD EXR sensor.
The sensor used in this 12 megapixel digital camera solves common challenges faced by most cameras such as, high noise, poor color reproduction at high ISOs and limited dynamic range. This technology enables users to capture high quality images in high resolution mode. Even low light and contrast light pictures have an excellent outcome especially when high sensitivity and dynamic range modes are activated. Therefore, photo enthusiasts can click pictures in different types of environment and conditions. This camera also comes with an integrated state of the art technology, to provide a good overall photographic experience.
On this occasion, Mr. Kenchi Tanaka, Managing Director, Fujifilm India, said “ This year, we intend to intensify our campaign and develop the brand image of digital cameras. We also aim to reinforce technical and marketing support to existing channel network so as to penetrate deeper into the Indian market.”
The FinePix F200EXR is just 1/1.6 inches and can be easily carried around. This camera is also integrated with a Fujinon 5x wide angle optical zoom lens and Face Detection 3.0 features, considered to be the most efficient face detection technology. Some of the other features of this camera are 5 Film Simulation Modes, HD Photo Output, Dual Image Stabilization, auto red eye removal, 3.0” high resolution 230,000 dots wide view LCD, and sensitivity of up to a huge ISO 12800 (3 million approx).
According to Mr. A. Rajkumar, Country General Manager (DSC), Fujifilm India, “ The objective is to create, sustain and reinforce the brand equity by creating the right marketing mix in terms of product, price, promotion and place (Channel).” He further said, “ Indian consumers have always appreciated innovation and embraced new technology quite openly. This has provided us with the impetus to launch our latest products soon after its launch in the USA as and we want our Indian customers to experience and enjoy the EXR technology, which is being lauded the world over.”
The FinePix F200EXR is currently priced at Rs. 18,999.
