HP Compaq has introduced the DX2000 Business Desktop PC Series in India. This new series of Business desktops includes DX2009, DX 2355 and DX 2710 desktops. These small factor desktops are designed to provide efficiency and productivity to target sectors such as ITeS (IT enabled services) that have three main considerations. These being space limitations, data security and power consumption.
According to Arun Rao (Country Manager, Business Desktops, Personal Systems Group, HP India), “The HP Compaq dx2000 series represents a new look and feel for commercial products, as design becomes increasingly important to organizations, while maintaining performance benefits. Designed to meet basic business computing needs like word processing, spreadsheets, internet browsing and email along with integrated biometric solution and firewall for security – the HP dx2000 series offers the optimal price-performance balance, allowing customers to focus on their core business versus their technology requirements.”
This model of the new Business series incorporates ‘Very Small Form Factor’, that allows it to be placed just about anywhere the user feels comfortable. The hardware itself is equipped with state of the arts security and intrusion prevention methods. Such as Password protection, Chassis intrusion switch (Optional) and Bio-metric finger print device on chassis front bezel (Optional). The DX 2009 starts at Rs.12,500/- only.
