Known for its space saving design, the new Compaq Presario CQ 2000 desktop series has been launched by HP in India. The device is specially designed for modern households and comes with a 15” TFT monitor & Compaq My Bhasha software, which is a communication enabler to provide vernacular interface. The CQ 2000 also comprises of 6-in-1 digital media reader and USB drives.
Chandrahas Panigrahi, Country Category Manager, HP India said, “ CQ 2000 is a new category of PCs to redefine the way desktops are viewed for their factor and design. We have launched the series with the aim to offer affordable PC to families, professionals and internet savvy users looking for more out of their personal computer”.
The Compaq My Bhasha software gives an intuitive and natural vernacular computing experience with the help of webcam interface, which is exclusive to HP only. It covers 10 languages including Hindi, Tamil, Gujarati, Marathi and more. Users can choose any one language, which will be embedded in the system or they can download it later through a CD.
The new CQ 2000 Desktop PC is available at all the stores across India, at a starting prices of Rs. 18,990 plus taxes.
