Targeted towards the small and medium business segments in the Indian Market, Hewlett-Packard has launched two new color printers, the CP1215 and CP1515n printers. The Laser Jet printers are priced at Rs. 17,299 and Rs. 21,699 respectively.
The HP Color LaserJet CP1215 Printer features the exclusive HP ColorSphere toner and Image REt 2400 technology, which delivers bright and sharp colors, clear lines and an amazingly high photo-quality resolution. It is regarded as one of the most affordable and low cost network ready color LaserJet printer, and it offers the advantages of both color printing and black and white printing at the same cost. The CP1215 can print at the speed of 12 pages per minute in black and white and 8 pages in color. The small and compact form of the printer also saves desktop space and it also conserves energy and decreases functioning time with HP’s Instant-on Technology.
The other CP1515n laser printer model features the updated HP ImageREt 3600 technolgy for an extra sharper image, captivating and gloss colors and profound clarity. However the rest of the features of the printer are pretty much similar to the CP1515, it is also compact and has a sleek and visually attractive design.
In a recent press release Rohit Khanna, country category manager, HP India stated, “The CP 1215 and CP 1515n printers are designed to remove one of the key barriers to color adoption among SMBs by reducing the cost of printing black and white documents to the same level as that on an HP monochrome LaserJet. At the same time these new printers will also extend the quality and experience of color in the office with new innovations like HP’s ColorSphere toner, and in-line printing technology that reduces paper jams.”
Both of the Hewlett Packard CP1215 and CP1215n printers are an economic deal and offer cost-parity solutions. They are just ideal for various sectors of small scale and medium sized businesses such as designing, media, garments and apparels, and the hospitality industry.
