HP recently unveiled its All-in-one series printers – HP Officejet Pro 8500. These printers are known to produce excellent results while being energy efficient – a perfect fit for small and micro business consumers. Besides, delivering best color results the devices are also economically priced.
HP Officejet pigment ink and HP Scalable Printing technology have been integrated into the printers. Some of the other features of these printers are quick print speed, wireless networking options, device management software and wired.
The HP Officejet Pro 8500 is also environment friendly since, it meets the four-in-one Energy Star qualification. These printers also have automatic two-sided copying and printing, junk fax blocker, scan to computer, fax to network folder/email, PC Fax send. Users can easily recycle their used cartridges through the HP Planet Partners Program.
As compared to other standard printers it consumes less energy even the cost per page is much less. This feature is possible as the printers use HP Officejet inks. About 35 and 34 ppm (pages per minute) in black and color respectively can be printed with these devices. The pro 8500 also achieve laser comparable speeds of up to 15 and 11 pages per minute in black and color respectively. With the help of Digital Filing and wireless 802.11g networking documents can be shared amongst 10 users.
The HP Smart Web Printing organizes pages for easy web printing. These printers also include HP Easy Printer Care software. The memory card slots of the HP Officejet Pro 8500 support CompactFlash, Memory Stick Duo, Secure Digital card, Memory Stick and xD-Picture card. Customers are offered a 35 page automatic document feeder, embedded wired networking and 2-line LCD control panel.
While the HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-one is priced at Rs. 20,861, the wireless printer is available for Rs. 22,899. These printers are expected to be out in the stores by May,2009.
