With the sole motto of targeting the mobile professionals, social media enthusiasts and fashion-freak women, HP has launched 3 new mini 1000 netbooks in the market. These are:
- HP Mini 1000
- HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition and,
- HP Mini 1000 with MIE.
This is to expand the HP family. All the three netbooks weigh over 2 pounds and offer a sleek appearance with less than 1-inch of thickness.
Common Features include:
- Built-in webcam
- Based on 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processors
- BrightView widescreen Infinity display with a resolution of 1,024 x 600 pixels
- Flush glass and LED backlight
- Microphone
- Support for HP Mini Mobile Drive that provides an additonal storage of 2 GB, 4 GB or 8 GB.

The 3G versions of the series are scheduled to be available in the month of December.
Price Range:
HP Mini 1000 netbook PC: It is currently available in the US at a price range of $399.
The HP Mini 1000 Vivienne Tam Edition: The addition is all set to hit the market by mid-December at a price range of $699.
The HP Mini 1000 with MIE: The system is expected to reach the US market in the mid of January at a price range of $379.
