LG has launched Optimus 3D smartphone for the Indian market, though the product will actually hit the shelves in September. The newest offering from LG’s Optimus series, Optimus 3D is the first 3D-enabled smartphone in the world. Flaunting a glassless 3D screen and run over Android with upgradability to Gingerbread, the gadget offers its users the attractive feature of recording and viewing 3D content via its dual rear camera. In fact, apart from viewing and recording 3D content, Optimus 3D enables its users to share the content as well, thus offering them a full spectrum 3D experience.
The smartphone is compatible with both 2G and 3G networks, at the frequencies of GSM 850/ 900/1800 /1900 and HSDPA 900/1900/2100/HSDPA 1700/ 2100/850 respectively.
