In June this year, we had reported about the launch of the new MOTOROKR E8, that being the latest addition to the ROKR series.
Following the launch of the E8, Motorola recently decided to expand the further ROKR family, with the addition of three new mobile phones, namely, MOTOROKR EM30, EM28 and EM25, providing the users with new ways of exploring their music.
One of the most vibrant and user friendly music phone in the ROKR series, MOTOROKR EM30 is packed with great audio and sound enhancement features such as high-fidelity (Hi-Fi) audio and fast music downloads. It has also been incorporated with the trademark Motorola ModeShift technology that helps the user distinguish between the music mode and the phone mode, as the keypad on the phone illuminates accordingly. A red color lit keypad indicates, ‘music mode’ and a blue color lit keypad indicates ‘phone mode’.
The phone has a 2MP (MegaPixel) camera for crystal clear images and uses Windows Media Player 11 for music downloads. The FM radio of the EM30 is equipped with RDS or Radio Data System, that enables the user to download the running track info along with other essential information. ROKR EM30 comes with a 3.5 mm universal audio socket, that lets the user to use any headset of his preference with the device.
The only flip or clam shell phone available in the ROKR series, ROCK EM28 enables you to operate the built-in music player via touch-sensitive keys, thus eliminating the need of opening the flap of the phone everytime you need to change some general track information.
MOTOROKR EM 28 comes packed with a 3D surround sound effect generator, thereby greatly enhancing the sound of your songs. Along with the surround sound effect, the EM28 has also been equipped with 11 pre-set music genres, including rock, reggae and pop, giving you the freedom of tweaking your music in your favorite genre.
MOTOROKR EM28 also features a dedicated 3.5 mm universal audio socket, along with a 1.3 MP camera and FM radio with RDS. One of the most unique features of EM28 is the FMShare function, that enables a user to share FM stations by sending a text message with the details.
A slider music phone, ROKR EM25 features dedicated music player and FM radio with RDS along with FMShare and SONGID features. Basically, SONGID is quite similar to Sony Ericsson’s TrackID feature, with which, a phone equipped with GPRS can get the track information from the web. With these unique features, EM25 as the other two new additions is equipped with a 3.5mm universal audio socket and Bluetooth technology. Users can use the Bluetooth feature to synchronize their phone with their computers or listen to music on the go with the dedicated Bluetooth music headsets and portable speakers.
