Motorola it seems has rolled out new software update for Fire XT which automatically upgrades its OS to Android 2.3.5.
When Motorola Fire XT was released in September 2011, it came loaded with Android 2.3.4 (Gingerbread). This update comes as a good news for existing Fire XT owners, who now will able to extract even better performance from their device that too within four months of purchase.
Though changes, once the upgrade is completed, have not been officially recorded but user are said to experience following changes :
- Lesser battery consumption.
- Fixing of minor errors that existed in previously loaded 2.3.4 OS.
- Better Gmail application performance.
- Software enhancements for the camera.
- List scrolling made even more attractive by including shadow animation.
