Following a world wide release in January, Nikon, the global business corporation specializing in precision equipment, imaging products and instruments has unveiled ten new cameras from its DSLR and compact COOLPIX range in India. The list of the compact digital cameras comprises the new 10.2 megapixel D60, and nine other cameras in the S, P, and L Style series, which include the COOLPIX S52, S210, S520, S550 and the S600 models.
The D60 delivers groundbreaking picture quality and the versatile handling of a D-SLR, and it is incredibly handy, easy and fun to use. It is now officially available in the Indian Market at the retail price of Rs.36,680.

The 18mm (less than 3/4-inch) COOLPIX S210 offers 8 effective megapixel resolution will retail for Rs.11,950, and it comes in an array of color options including black, silver, blue and pink.
While the COOLPIX S550 with the Smile Mode and Blink Warning available in silver, black, blue and purple colors, is retailed at the rate of Rs.15,950.

The COOLPIX S520 also features 8 effective megapixels, and a special “Food Mode” fixture which allow users to capture close-up images of food at high ISO settings in locations where flash photography is not permitted. The COOLPIX S520 will be priced Rs.14,450.

The COOLPIX S600 features 10 effective megapixels, a 4x wide-angle 28-112mm Zoom-NIKKOR lens and Optical Vibration Reduction Image Stabilization and it will be priced Rs.18,450.

And at a retail price of Rs.14,950, the COOLPIX S52 comes with a 3.0-inch LCD screen, 9.0 effective megapixel and a built-in “right-angle” optical lens shift and Vibration Reduction features.

The latest addition to the Nikon’s COOLPIX P series are the the P60 and P80, priced at Rs 15,000 and Rs 22,000 respectively.

Last but not the least, the Nikon COOLPIX L2, L3 and L4 models combine high-quality design and construction with easy to use features available at affordable prices.of $249.95, $199.95 and $149.95 respectively. All three cameras features a sharp 3x optical Zoom-Nikkor lens, a big, bright 2.0-inch LCD and lightweight, compact body style (slimmest in it’s class with AA-type batteries) while offering high resolution of 6.0 effective megapixels.
