Palm Inc. has unleashed a new version of the Palm Centro Smartphone in a stylish and suave onyx black color. The handset is not only fashionable but it is also functional and cost effective at the same time. The Palm Centro Smartphone is priced at Rs 13,990 (inclusive of tax) and it is still available in the original glacier white version too.
The smartphone features a 2.2-inch touchscreen with a 320 x 320 pixel resolution and a full QWERTY keyboard. In addition, the Palm Centro Smartphone also offers one-touch speaker phone activation, conference calling and Bluetooth wireless connectivity features. The Centro provides users the functionality to have conversations in chat-style views similar to instant messaging in PCs. Its email functionality feature includes the Microsoft Direct Push Technology for Internet access to their corporate mails. Other additional features include preloaded Google Maps application and media functionality such as the “Pocket Tunes” software that lets users “sideload” songs and manage music, audio books and videos. In addition, the smartphone has built-in digital camera for easy capture and quick sharing capabilities.
