Panasonic launched 6 brand new 1MOS Full-HD camcorders at the ongoing CES 2012 function in Las Vegas. These models are HC-V700, HC- V700M, HC-V500, HC-V500M, HC-V100 and HC-V100M.

From the light weight and extended recording capability of the HC-V100 and HC-V100M, to the 2D to 3D conversion capability and special effect modes of the HC-V500 and HC-V500M, to the 3D recording capability and High Sensitivity Sensor of the HC-V700 and HC-V700M, there is a Panasonic camcorder model to match virtually any consumer ready to record.”, said Chris Rice, Senior Product Manager, Imaging, Panasonic Consumer Marketing Company of North America.
HC-V700 and HC- V700M are perfect tools to capture indoor and night-time shots, thanks to the presence of High Sensitivity Sensor, that also helps in recording clear and crisp videos. HC-V700, HC- V700M gives the user an option to record 3D videos/images by mounting VW-CLT2 lens. 2D to 3D Conversion function is also available to effortlessly convert your double dimensional images to 3D. Advanced Highlight Playback Function assists the user in viewing recorded images as quickly as possible whereas HYBRID O.I.S + helps in stabilising blurs throughout the entire zoom range.
HC-V500 and HC-V500M are good for capturing distant objects, it comes in stylish and compact dimension with a very easy to use design. Just like its HC-V700 counterparts, it uses Advanced Highlight Playback Function for fast viewing of recorded images. Though VW-CLT2 lens is missing in HC-V500 and HC-V500M, it does comes with the 2D to 3D Conversion function. There are 4 special effect modes Natural, Pop, Dynamic and Classical provided. HC-V500 and HC-V500M has a high powered 50x zoom as well as HYBRID O.I.S+
Last in the range of newly released Panasonic camcorders, HC-V100 and HC-V100M is dimensionally 2.028” x 2.343” x 4.429”. These are ultra lightweight, have low power consumption and extended recording capability. HC-V100 and HC-V100M are perfect for travelling, outdoor shooting, treks and other places where locating a charging point can be an issue. HC-V100 and HC-V100M has POWER O.I.S with Active mode, an essential feature to suppress handshakes blurs while recording through lightweight and compact cameras. HC-V100 and HC-V100M is guaranteed to provide 155 minutes of continuous Full HD recording.
All the above mentioned models have 1MOS sensor with 1920x1080p resolution enabling them to capture high quality pictures even with when the lighting isn’t good enough. They share compact features, Ultra teleport zoom, Optical Image Stabilization (O.I.S) and iA mode amongst themselves.
The HC-V700, HC-V500 and HC-V100 models haveCard slot for SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Cards, while HC- V700M, HC-V500M and HC-V100M have SD Card slot that supports SD/SDHC/SDXC Memory Cards as well as 16GB of built-in memory.
Though Panasonic have not yet disclosed the shipping and price details, the Official press release of these products is available.
