Canon has replaced 7.1 mega pixel Powershot A470, which came into market last year by introducing the Powershot A480. The new digital camera has 10 mega pixel sensor. Here are some other features of the new product:
- 2.5 inch LCD screen.
- 3.3x optical zoom.
- Powered by Canon’s DIGIC III processor.
- Has face and motion detection technology.
- Has AA battery to save users from hunting for power point to charge their battery.
Canon has simplified the button layout in Powershot A480 by providing separate buttons for zoom, mode and playback. The camera also features an improved user interface.
The 15 preset shooting modes including kids, pets, sunset and indoor modes of the new model will allow users to instantly get the correct settings for similar scenes. With the advanced A480, you can also shoot spontaneous 30fps video clips.
The Powershot A480 will be available in silver, red, blue and black colors. The company is yet to disclose the price and availability details of the new model.
