Samsung has launched 3 new touchscreen handsets in the Indian market – S5233, S5603 and BEAT DJ. With this announcement, Samsung has strengthened its position in the touch screen portfolio. All the three handsets boast of compact designs and intuitive usability. The primary aim of the products is to offer full touch phones at more affordable prices.

Samsung Star (S5233)
This handset includes all the latest multimedia features in a slim and compact body. It also comes with a stylus for convenience. Gesture Control is a new feature that has been included in this handset. This feature allows the user to unlock or run an application by just giving a gesture command. Moreover, users can also customize various applications like C- Call, M – Music, I – Internet etc. It also supports a virtual QWERTY keyboard for messaging and handwriting features. This handset is currently priced at Rs. 11,100.

Samsung Star 3G (S5603)
This Samsung Star 3G handset supports full Internet browsing with an accelerometer sensor for auto-rotation. It also has the same features as the S5233 including Gesture Control. This handset is priced at Rs. 14,499.
BEAT DJ
The BEAT DJ runs on an intuitive DISC User Interface and comes fully loaded with Bang & Olufsen audio technology.this handset is priced at Rs. 18,990.
