Samsung India has introduced three LED TV series 6, 7 and 8 in the country. While the 6 and 7 series with 40” & 46” are already launched, the 55” 8 series will be launched soon in May, 09. All the three models use LEDs as their prime light source rather than the cold cathode fluorescent lamps.
Here are some features of the new range:
- Mega contrast rations complementing the company’s LED TV engine.
- Produce darker blacks.
- Ultra clear panel feature for preserving every detail even in bright lit and imperfect lighting conditions.
- Features for reducing motion blur and image judder.
- In-built tuner.
- Reduced gap of around 0.6 inches between TV and the wall.
- USB 2.0 movie features.
- DLNA wireless features in series 7 and 8.
- In built content library flash with pre-loaded content feature.
LED TVs have ultra high contrast ration, slip depth and better energy saving features. The series 6 is priced between Rs. 1,25,000(40”) to Rs. 1,50,000(46”), series 7 LED TVs are priced between Rs.1,40,000 To Rs.1,80,000 and series 8 will be priced at Rs.3,50,000.
