Samsung has officially announced the launch of its new Android Smartphone I5700 Galaxy Spica in Russia. This is supposed to be the second model that runs the Android Operating System. Galaxy Spica has 800MHz processor that is complimented by 128 MB RAM, which means speedy functioning.
The handset also features:
- 3.2” touchscreen with 320×40 pixel resolution
- GPA with A-GPS support
- 3G with HSDPA, GPRS/EDGE
- 3 megapixel camera
- Up to 32GB microSD card support
- 3.5mm earphone socket
- Wi-Fi, USB and Bluetooth
Buyers will be able to enjoy all the data services like calendar, Gmail, documents in real time. The phone also supports Microsoft ActiveSync, so the synchronization of email between Smartphone and PC will become easier.
The phone will be ready to conquer Russian market by November 2009 for an approx price of Rs. 22,420 (14,000 Rubles).
