Sony Corporation has unveiled and released details about the upcoming launch of Sony Bravia JE1 Series LCD Televisions. The company has termed the new line in LCD TVs as one of the most highly efficient LCD TV series in the world. The all new Bravia JE1 Series offers the users with a stunning WXGA resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, with an embedded HDMI interface, a contrast ratio of 25000:1 and also an in-built TV tuner card. The Sony Bravia JE1 Series LCD TVs are expected to hit the Japanese markets on July 15th 2008, with an approximate price tag of $1,389 U.S.
According to Sony, the Bravia JE1 Series LCD TVs are capable of minimizing annual power consumption to 86 KWH (Kilowatts) per year and has already been designed to reach the energy efficiency rate of 232%. Sony has incorporated flame-retardant plastic materials to enhance the chances of accomplishing ‘eco-friendly environment’ promises. In the upcoming Bravia series, Sony has used fluorescent tubes to provide highly clear display, at the same time consuming low levels of electrical power.
The Sony Bravia JE1 Series will also be the first to provide a radio frequency remote control that works on the 2.4 GHZ wireless communication technology.
