The program is far from the bloated when it puts strain on your processor. Tag Clinic also loses points for sheer quantity of options are available to users on the main interface. Its design is not at all favorable and the glut of buttons appearing on three windowed menu will only confuse you.
But once you manage to find the directory, which contains music, you will begin to experience the powerful features of the program. Large number of options to interact with tags and some of the most advanced extract features are provided. These features will look at the file name and use any details from it to fill the ID3 tag information for the artists, titles, tracks and albums. Formatting the text is also easy as there are options available to capitalize the first letter or eliminate any spaces between words.
Tag Clinic is a program mean for editing tags, but it is incomplete because of lack of an internal player. If you want to preview a file, then you must open the default player. Users expect the program to have some kind of CDDB integration that will collect relevant information about albums from the internet.
With the features like direct editing of tag entries, Tag Clinic is an efficient way to edit music library details. However, the program could be made more user friendly by re-designing interface and by adding more MP3 relevant features.
