Buffalo Technology has expanded its popular Tera station Family with the recent lauinch of the the TeraStation iSCSI and TeraStation iSCSI Rackmount in the Indian market. Buffalo’s newest additions to its high-performance line of SMB-focussed storage devices is aimed and targeted at the Small and Medium Business segment.
The latest products from the company are available in two different styles the pedestal and the rackmount. These model with their vast and secured storage space.comes in three different configurations of 1 TB, 2 TB and 4 TB capacities
Buffalo’s new iSCSI TeraStation storage devices provides flexibility of iSCSI SAN technology for companys storage needs with the added benefits of affordable rates previously reserved for consumer NAS devices. Shifting storage resources from one data centre to a remote location for standby availability is one of the major needs for companies to deploy the iSCSI SAN technologies, and additionally storage consolidation in general plays an even bigger role.
The new TeraStation iSCSI will be available in two styles and three capacity levels, the Pedestal version is available at the price of Rs 67,000. The 2 TB and 4 TB versions available atriced at Rs 84,000 and Rs 1,30,000 respectively
The Rackmount versions of 1 TB (TS-RI1.0TGL/R5) is priced at Rs 72,500.While the 2 TB (TS-RI2.0TGL/R5)is priced at Rs 93,000, the TB (TS-RI4.0TGL/R5) is available at the rate of Rs 1,46,000.The Rackmounts can be integrated into any structured IT environment by mounting into a relay rack or a server cabinet.

The TeraStation iSCSI and TeraStation iSCSI Rackmount will be available in June. Accompanied by a limited three-year warranty and toll-free technical support.
