Dell has launched its redesigned Vostro desktop line, which is specially meant for small businesses. The model has increased storage and expandability features. According to the press release, the Vostro portfolio is redesigned in order to address all the technology issues which were faced by small-business customers. The company has provided a solution to all the usage and maintenance of computer systems, data storage, service and support as well as price related problems of small businesses.
The release claims that PC has increased internal storage capacity with one terabyte hard drive, which can be raised upto 4 terabytes. Vostro 420 also comes with 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet for network access. It has dual display capability and expandability with 10 USB ports & 7 PCI/PCIe expansion slots. An eSATA connector installed in the system can transfer data to an external storage device. Some additional features on new Vostro include Intel G45 express chipset, serial ports and PS/2 for using older devices, optional Blu-Ray disk drives for video playback and data storage.
The new Vostro line-up is available in market at a starting price of Rs. 22,400.
