Apple has announced the introduction of its new 17-inch MacBook Pro, which has amazingly durable aluminum unibody and a revolutionary battery.
The new MacBook is integrated with 95WHr lithium battery, that is made on Adaptive charging technology and is said to have a back up of 8 hours. Its 1000 recharges have more than three times the lifespan in comparison to conventional notebook batteries.
The MacBook Pro is made from highly recyclable material, and doesn’t have harmful toxins that are found in existing computers. The notebook also meets stringent energy star 4.0 requirements and has acquired the tag of being the world’s thinnest and lightest notebook. It weighs 6.6 pounds and is only 0.98 inches thin.
Besides this, the laptop has high resolution, ultra-thin wide screen with glossy LED backlit display. It has large glass multi-touch trackpad, 2.93 GHz Intel core 2 Duo mobile processor and NVIDIA graphics. Some other features of the product include:

- A slot-load 8x SuperDrive with double layer support.
- In-built Airport extreme 802.11n wireless network and bluetooth 2.2+EDR.
The new MacBook Pro is expected to be available by late January at an approx price of Rs.1,35,840.
