Is Apple planning to release updated versions of its iMac and Mac Mini range, up with some significant hardware upgrades? Nothing has been confirmed officially as far as the company is concerned. The first hint appeared on the InsanelyMac forum.
According to certain reports by Brian X. Chen it is believed that that Apple will soon announce a new Mac mini, quite likely with an NVidia graphics card, at Macworld. But still, all these reports are just small part of the world of “Assumptions.” It seems that the the new range will include and use a version of NVIDIA’s GeForce 9400M chipset.
Finally, according to a website called CENS.com, an article by Ken Liu states that “Apple plans to unveil the new version of iMac in the first quarter in 2008 and ship 800,000 systems…” But as there is no official news from Apple, the article is equipped with NO SOURCE!
