Having previously released G’zOne Commando, that did go a little unnoticed, Casio is now all geared up to launch a brand new rugged G-Shock Android SmartPhone.
If you notice the pictures, you will find them pretty impressive, like previous G-Shock phones it has a sporty outlook, while retaining touchscreen and candybar form factor. Loaded with features mentioned below, this phone is custom made for extreme adventure lovers:
- Shock resistant to 10 feet
- Water resistant to 1.0 bar which equals to a whopping 10m
- Pressure resustant to 1.0 bar
- Chic metal case back
- Plastic/resin construction
- Camera and flash
Apart from this it will be expected to run on Google’s Android OS. It is being said that Casio is yet to decide whether to go ahead with the production of this phone or not, which means final hardware and software specifications are subject to change. In past Casio hasn’t really pushed for worldwide release of their previous G-Shock rugged Android, which was only made available in the U.S. and Japan. If Casio does decide to go ahead with production, we hope this SmartPhone is showcased worldwide.
