At a press conference 14th December 2011 LG and Prada, unveiled a brand new LG SmartPhone that goes by the name of LG Prada 3.0. This would be LG and Prada’s third collaboration for a phone, other two versions being LG Prada and LG Prada II. Also during the press event, which happened in London, the companies also shared their marketing strategies for LG Prada 3.0, announcing that the phone will be first made available to South Korean consumers, with Europe and rest of Asia to follow the suit early next year.
Just one look at the exterior, one will sense the class that oozes out of it. The back side has a Saffiano leather finishing, something Prada is known for, embossed with a very distinctive Prada logo. The front side is a stunningly contrasting, with chromed metal finishing.
Performance-wise this phone is another right up there. Operating on the relatively new Google OS 2.3.7 Gingerbread with PRADA UI. An internal memory of 8GB is already provided with slot for microSD cards that could result in additional 32GB of storage space. It has two cameras, a 8MP beauty at back side while 1.3MP front facing camera. The performance of this device is pretty fast with 1GHz Dual-Core Processor. LG Prada 3.0 currently runs on Gingerbread, but LG have revealed, later versions will be supported by Ice Cream Sandwich which happens to be the latest Google OS.
