Samsung has revealed that Samsung Nexus will make its Indian debut in March 2012. This could come in as a potential setback for Samsung SmartPhone lovers who had long been waiting for Android 4.0 operated Nexus but now will have to make a tough choice between Nexus and Galaxy SIII, which is rumoured to come out a month later.
Russian tech blogger Eldar Murtazin, famous for his inside sources and hit-or-miss record, recently tweeted on “HD resolution, 12 mpx camera, sw tweaks, android 4 – i like my new phone. Eager to see official announcement in Barcelona.” This tweet is a strong indication of Murtazin personally owning a Galaxy SIII. The blogger has further hinted that Galaxy SIII will be running on 1.5 Ghz-1.6 GHz quad core chip, with suggestions being put forward that Samsung has tweaked their battery performance as well.
Though Samsung has officially announced their plans to release of Galaxy Nexus in India, they however haven’t provided much light on the availability Galaxy SIII. We all will have to wait until the Mobile World Conference event in Barcelona, to know more about Galaxy SIII release. How adversely the launch of Galaxy SIII will affect the sales of Galaxy Nexus in India is yet to be seen.
