Sony Ericsson, the mobile company that is famous for its cool and stylish cell phones recently launched its new series of 8 megapixel and 12 megapixel camera phones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona.
Sony Ericsson’s 8 megapixel W995 Walkman phone features:
- A-GPS.
- WiFi.
- A 2.6-inch QVGA scratch-resistant display.
DLNA support. - 118MB of onboard storage.
- A Memory Stick M2 slot.
The 8.1-megapixel is decked with Cyber-shot features:
- 16x digital zoom.
- Auto-focus.
- Face detection a flash.
- Image stabilization.
- Sony’s PictBridge.
- A video recorder and picture blogging.
- Stereo Bluetooth.
- Messaging and email.
- A voice recorder.
Other features include:
FM radio, phone as modem capability, USB mass storage, PC syncing, instant messaging, organiser applications, a speakerphone, gaming and direct access to YouTube.
On the other hand, Sony Ericsson “Idou” is decked with 12 megapixel camera (no CyberShot) and has the following features:
- Xenon flash.
- 3.5-inch widescreen touchscreen display.
- DLNA-compatible WiFi.
- GPS receivers.
- Symbian Foundation OS – based on the Symbian platform and Nokia’s Symbian S60 UI.
