Digital Waves is a private company established in the year 1994 with a vision of providing latest and cost effective technology to dealers and end users. Owing to the open source nature of Google’s Android OS, we have seen many independent hardware manufacturers trying their hands at developing independent android devices, following the suit is Digital Waves with Tabplus Rio.
Rio tablet runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS and carries a 7-inch capacitive display touch screen that supports five point touch, offering high definition quality. 1GHz ARM Cortex A9 processor is embedded with Mali 400 graphic processing unit. Rio has 4GB internal memory expandable up to 32GB to round of internal specifications. Power is provided by a 3000mAh Li-Ion standard battery, while a not so impressive but do-able front 300K VGA camera is provided, it also supports connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, External 3G dongle support, Bluetooth and AGPS. 4 side G-Sensors provide awesome gaming experience other features include 1 microUSB Port, 1 USB Port, 1 HDMI output and a TF card reader.
